After they lose, you move to your next character selected and continue with that character until they lose. This allows you to choose the number of characters to play and you fight with each until they lose. What this amounts to is anyone can pick up a controller, be instructed of the basics and have a good time.Īlong the same lines of the characters attacks, Namco has done something which may prove to be revolutionary. What this does is give new players the ability to perform most of the special moves and the die-hard players can master the more difficult ones as they learn the game. They have kept the controls simple enough that most people will be able to pull off even the coolest of moves with just two or three button pushes. I must commend the developers for not jumping on the 40-button push sequences just to do a move. This holds true in the second title as well.
